Falls Branch Falls is a double falls approximately 11 miles from Blue Ridge, Georgia. To reach the falls from Dahlonega follow Hwy . 60W 35 miles to Newport Gap Rd. (Also Dial Rd.) and turn left reaching Dial, Ga. in 2.5 miles. Cross the bridge over the Toccoa River at Dial and turn right on Aska Rd. in 0.7 miles. Follow Aska Road 5 miles and turn left on Stanley Creek Rd. Follow Stanley Creek Rd. (The Benton Makaye Trail follows Stanley Creek Rd. also) for 3.1 miles to where the Benton Mckaye turns into the woods on the right marked by a double diamond on a tree beside the road. Follow the trail up the creek one quarter mile to a viewing platform at the falls. To reach the falls from Blue Ridge take Aska Rd. eight miles to reach Stanley Creek Rd. on the right and continue as indicated above. |
