Raper Creek Falls is in a shady cove making it possible to take pictures of the falls while the sun is still high in the sky. To reach the falls from the junction of Ga. Hwy 255 and 197 in Batesville, Ga. , go 2.5 miles south east on Hwy 197 towards Clarksville and turn left onto Watts Mill Rd. After 0.8 miles turn left onto Raper Mtn. Rd. Proceed 0.2 miles and turn right onto Forest Service Rd. 376. In 0.2 miles after turning onto FS 376 park at the pull out on the right side of the road. The falls will be visible at the bottom of the ravine on Raper Creek. A primitive trail decends to the falls.
