Hurdles in Life

The students who are participating in the Not On Tobacco® Program recognize just how hard it is to quit smoking.  They all say they smoke now for different reasons than when they started and they all want to quit.  Read this poignant story written by a student who wants to quit.  Junior Brent Gaines inspired this poster.  Not all of us can glide over the tall hurdles as effortlessly as Brent. The Knights Against Tobacco want to tell others that quitting smoking is very difficult.  It is so much easier to just not start.  Don’t add another hurdle in your life! Amanda's story about her experience with smoking gives added emphasis to the danger of smoking to "fit in" or be part of the crowd.
